Our company executed large survey on household cash-flow commissioned by International Finance Corporation

Objective of the survey was to determine household finances, spending and income, source of household income, use and knowledge about deposit, current bank accounts, domestic and international remittance, common remittance methods, amount of money transferred by remittance methods, identify weakness and strength of the  remittance methods and use of cell phones. The survey was conducted from July 5, 2011 to Sept 5, 2011.

The sample survey questionnaire was prepared in advance by survey team of the International Finance Corporation and we worked closely with customer relations specialists of MobiFinance NBFI in order to improve the survey questionnaire. We tested the survey questionnaire in 25 households in order pre-test of the survey questionnaire and field team members.

Field work was conducted by a team consisting of 18 personnel including 1 supervisor and 3 interviewers in charge of target aimag and 3 supervisors. A team that consisted of 3 supervisors and 14 interviewers conducted survey in UB. In order to ensure quality and accuracy of survey data, we back-checked 80% of the survey data by phone and 20% by home visits according to international research body ESOMAR standard. For data entry, we used Cspro software program which ensured zero mechanical and logical errors. Survey data processing, detailed analysis were done using SPSS.17 quantitative data analysis program.

The survey findings were crucial for the client to determine its customer relations policy, evaluate its work, planning for future work.
